Exclamation WTB: 241 Valves (Int and Exh for one cyl.)

I didn't realize it till after I had both heads torqued down and I was about to check my pushrod length, but one of my intake and exhaust valve stems were worn pretty bad on the used heads I bought. Looks like the guy I bought them from had a a couple loose rocker arms that were bouncing around and beat the contact surface up.
I'm willing to buy a whole set, but would rather just replace the two that are bad. Please let me know what you have. I need these ASAP
    Thanks.

Anyone? This and pushrods are the only thing holding me back from completing my build.

buy new, they're less than $15 each. A machine shop will have to replace them, you can't put valves from one engine into another without machine work or lapping.

So you think I'd have a problem even if I lapped them myself by hand? I know it would be time consuming but I'm willing to do it to save a little dough.

valves for a 241 are same as any 2.0 valve head.

you can easily hand or drill lap them in place with no issues. done it plenty of times with no issues

be sure you check the installed valve stem height and try to make it as close to the others as possible. The side of a bench grinder wheel can get them flat if you hold it square. Don't get too aggressive and get the stem hot when grinding it.

i would not adivse grinding on any valve stem. Only the Ls6 valves are longer from the factory. Just find another stock 2.0 valve simple lapping and your good to go
