    95 RCSB to LQ4/4L60e (56k Heavy)

This 95 is a project that I'm working on for a member from another board that I'm on. It started life as a 350TBI/4L60e and I'm swapping in an LQ4/4L60e. Trans will be updated with the Gen III/IV style 4L60. Using a Nelson Performance Harness, Transdapt Adapter Plates, and everything else needed for a Smog Legal Setup. I'll go into detail with the swap and take pics along the way.

Getting ready to pull the engine

Got a little help from a friend

Me removing the last little connections

    All Gone...

On the Transdapt Plates, it seems like the bolts that bolt the factory 350 mounts to the adapter plates are too long, have any of you ran into this problem before?

Also, Not sure which wires on the old Harness to remove and which to keep. I've searched all over. I know that the Nelson Performance Harness has a few connections that need to be hooked up but I wasn't 100% sure about those as well. If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated. I'm going to try to figure out the Wiring tomorrow.

    Matt

all the wires for the new harness can be hooked into the leads coming from the main harness going into the firewall on the driver side firewall. I can't remember if I documented the ones I used in the "current top secret project" topic I made when doing the 93 conversion.

I had the same problem with the transdapt plates. I ground the bolts down til they fit right.

I figured that's what I'd have to do. Thanks

I wouldn't cut any wires until you get everything working as it should. Just zip tie them all put of the way, that way you don't accidently cut something you need. I traced the wires one at a time and pulled them out of the way
