Yea 11s and reliable don't go together lol. I had a 11 sec truck before trucks were cool and drove it a total of 1500 miles in 4 years. Turbo is the way Im headed I think. The only thing I'm worried about is the tranny holding up.Originally Posted by TurboMic

These threads always stir the pot, both sides have die hard devotees.
I've had a kit on my truck close to a year, I've put 4 bottles through it. It never see's the track, just screwing around in Mexico. If that's your situation too, N2O is the better cheaper route. However, using it all the time, it adds up QUICK. And after having it, the novelty kinda wore off (mainly cuz i pay 80-100 to fill the bottle).
Moral of the story my trucks seeing a D1 in it's future.

iv had both turbo and nitrous on my ls1... they both made great power but imo the nitrous set up was much more dependable. But im with frenchy on this one...a D1 will prob be my next investment
