5.3 to 6.0 swap...now stuck on tranny decision

yeah im going to go with a 80. does anyone know if i need a transfercase or will the one off the 4l60e work??

Im in a pretty similar swap and the flywheels on 6.0 and 5.3 are different? How did you get past this with the 4l60e? Anything helps, thanks

I think you will have to change the output shaft in the 80 to make it work

yeah i went and got a 32 spline input shaft for the np 246. u can find em at most tranny shops online. i got my at drivetrain.com
