That big grey connector in your last pic goes to the shift position detector for the gauges on the new truck you dont need it.

Actually, he does. The 95-98 cluster uses that switch for the shifter indicator too.

The a/c isn't part of the serpentine system, it has it's own groove on the back end of the pulley. Use the factory length belt.

so today i was able to order my starter, msd wires and new air intake tubes. also picked up a new harness pedal tac module and pcm from a guy off craigslist for 450..not too bad. gotta send the pcm out to be re programmed.

only issue with the harness is that iwas from a 2003 6.0 motor and the guy got it modified to work with a 700r4 trans. luckily i still have my original harness so i can just grab the wires and plugs i need from there and add them to the new harness. going out of town this weekend so hopefully when i get back all my stuff will be here.

    heres the pedal i needed.

heres the new harness fuse box and relays all hooked up

also the harness came with this plug that says vss where do i plug this in?

I read somewhere that you are going to change this from a 4WD to a 2WD. If this is right. does anyone know if a 96' Tahoe transfer case will fit into a 99' Suburban? Because if it does and you want to sell it I am VERY interested.
