Not according to what some of these guys are saying. I had one dealer offer me a truck that was nicer than this for 31k. It was worth an extra 3k in options and being a CC. Its almost the exact same as ckfarell's truck he got for less.

Thing is they have a ton of trucks on the lot. According to what I have been told they have too many trucks and need to get some 2011's sold ASAP. Supposedly they have some miles on them. Nothing crazy just test drive miles(less than 3k), but as you can see they have had this one on the lot a while, because there was snow on the ground when they took that picture. I am basically going for 27k, but I will push as hard as I can. I have handled the haggling for a lot of my friends in the past so I know how to get a deal. We will see what happens.

It is possible... Man these things are rare but can find dealers they'll apply all rebates and do snything to get you into it.. Your age may affect you with a sales men take ur pops in with u to talk business.. I know if a younger kid came to me wanting a 30 k car id stay inside but thats just cause they age factor, not cause I wouldnt wanna make a sale. Most salesmen only look @ ppl as a figure.. If I didnt pay cash for the freakin.saab and just get it id hope on a 2wd ,ext cab, 6.2 in a heart beat... And now I im a spot to where I keep saab or use it for down payment on a 6.2... I just dont wanna get into a payment since im lookin for a house, maybe a boag for me new pond being built and now need a new water dog :/

Haha very nice. I just found out I can apply an additional 5,500 in factory rebates, because I am a college student. That brings the price to 29k without haggling. If I couldn't get it for 27k that would be a pretty stingy dealership I think. I have 2500 to put down, but I'm gonna wait a couple weeks to get a little more to put down. I like the idea of putting down at least 20%. You all will see pictures the day I pick it up for sure.

the gm college discount is the supplier price minus the 5500 in rebates.. which is around 3000 on a silverado... i didnt know about this and just looked it up so thanks man lol. but still 8000 off msrp is a good bit..
