Thread: can i bypass theVATS system

    i have a 97 silverado and it had a 4.3 in it. 8 Months ago i put in a 2002 5.3 i finally finished the wiring and my engine starts then 2 seconds later it dies. i read that the computer had to be flashed or something like that but that it costs alot. someone also told me that their is a way to bypass the vats system ,if its true than can someone please tell me how to do it

    Contact Allen/Farmtruc at NelsonPerformance.com. He can fix you up with a basic/hotrod tune or a full tune to get more power from that beast. He can remove VATS and all emissions items that you aren't using, also.

    Yeah removing VATS is no problem, just give Allen a buzz!
