Did you remove a ground wire? Also, did you replace the injector connector and if so, did you solder all your connections? I'd check for power at all the injectors. You should have power to one side of all the injectors when the key is on. The PCM grounds the other side to fire them.

They are direct replacements, so no cutting or splicing was done. I will have to get a tester tomorrow.

Sounds like a plug problem since they're not firing.... they could have been fouled up when the computer was trying to relearn the idle. When I changed injectors and first fired up my truck, it spit and sputtered and ran extremely rich, which could foul a plug. You could try putting the platinum plugs back in and see how it does.

A fouled plug won't fire at all? Guess I learned something new today. I will pull them later & check.

Anyone have other ideas? I would love for it to be that simple.

I know, stupid question but it must be asked.... are the coil packs plugged in on the passenger side? The large white connector, is it firmly plugged in? Is the ground good?

I never unplugged the coil packs, so that should be good. When I pull the injector wire on #8, the engine stumbles. I double checked the plugs wires, and they are all on good.

I don't know what else to look for, it is either spark, injector, fuel delivery or the computer. It has to be.

Go back to the original PCM and see if it starts. It should work with it if the PCM is defective. It is possible that you may have knocked the pins for the injectors loose in the PCM connector, also.

Just talked to him, i'm not sure if the pcm is bad or just a bad upload.
I asked him to install the original pcm and see if it fired, it'll load up with fuel not being tuned for the injectors, but it will run long enough to determine if it's better than the other pcm.
Result, the old pcm is better, so it must be a bad load/flash.

We'll get it going SC, talk to you later,

Can it run with the original PCM and stock injectors as long as he resists the urge to hammer on it?

I don't want to go through all that.

Hopefully he can get a PCM out today, and I will have it tomorrow. I am just relieved it was simple, and I don't have to take everything off again.

Thanks Red... ,you were dead-on with the first prediction yesterday. I should have tried it earlier.
