Ive got Farmers currently...Only issue I have ever had with them was when my 73 was totaled they only gave me $5000 for it....granted I only paid $3300 for it, but we had it appraised...before insuring it...for $12000 and after the accident they had there own appraisal done that came in at $10500. I was furious that we got half of what they had just told me it was worth and I had full comp and collision on it.

I'm 19 as well, and have some stuff done to mine but they don't know it.. I'm at statefarm and pay $288 full coverage with 1 accident (my fault) on the record, all my tickets have been taken care of..

ill be leaving geico shortly. Not happy with their service also not happy with their policys.

FYI if you ever drop your insurance with them on a vehicle say for the winter...they will report you to the state and have your registration suspended if you dont submit your plate.

I get my insurance through my bank (TD Canada Trust), the truck goes to a local body shop every year for a miniature appraisal, I just hand in copies of my receipts for anything added when it goes, and supposedly it's covered.

That was because it was old and considered a classic. You need special insurance for such....and it actually costs A LOT less than regular insurance and covers more. I know it doesn't help now.

We had this on a 68 mustang my dad owned a few years ago. You could only put so many miles per year and things like that

The only problem with classic insurance is that they are WAY more strict with coverage. I was denied because of my brother's driving record, and he doesn't even ride in the car, let alone drive it. This was through Hagarty.

Sorry, I'm old and none of that applies to me really. Hagerty is about the best and most of them no longer has usage/mileage restrictions if you use a specialty company.

Anyway....I steering us off topic. Forget I mentioned it....
