I was wanting the stockish look with everything under the hood and I think its came out well. I first thought about smoothing and painting everything blue but that woulda been too much under there...

But thanks for the kind words everyone!

i just got my CAI installed, it came out good. i left my battery on the passager side so i had to do a little bending to the shield but it worked out nice. i also see what you mean about the blue rubber pieces. they look out of place with all the black under my hood. so they will get changed as soon as i find some black ones.

im also doing the 3 piece cover on the motor, but im get the vortec max covers. all i really have left to do is get the PCM tuned and exhaust. i should have it done by next week then off to the dyno! i also got my spintech mufflers in today so i cant wait to hear them lol

thanks for write up on your truck i really like both of your, the black truck is clean. i want to know where you got all your lights on the front from?

I bought some ceramic coating from Columbiacoatings. Its sprayed thru a paint gun then baked on. Came out pretty decent if I say so. But gotta make sure you follow the directions.
Once you spray it it air dries like a chalky green, then once baked @ 500* for an hour it turns white. Just take some 0000 steel wool and wipe them down. Can be polished out with buffer for almost chrome but wasnt wasting time doing that.lol
How much did you order and what over did you use?
