NEWBY LS swap questions

Hey guys just got signed up yesterday to the forum. I've already read through and got some helpful information.

I have a 95' RC Z71 that I want to do a 6.0 swap in. It has 236k miles and is getting tired and I want something fun to DD. I don't plan to tow with the truck I can use my new truck for that and gas mileage isn't really a concern either.

My budget is 10-12k total I'm looking to keep the 4wd for now and the 4l60. The truck will be lowered maybe 2/4 and I plan to run 04-06' factory 17'' wheels/tires. I would like to see 550-600 crank hp. What are my best options? I've had several trucks with superchargers and loved them. I thought about trying a turbo.

Best option for 10k is a mild 6.0 with a single turbo. Your best option to start with would be a complete pull out engine, accessories, computer, and harness. Your 60e isn't going to last long with much over stock hp. Plan on having it built.

Engine, cam, springs, intake, injectors = 2500
Tranny = 2500
Turbo system = 4000
Fuel system = 500

That's what I figured. I've got one found with around 100k that's a cable TB and aluminum heads for $1300 shipped to me.

I'm in central Arkansas. Haven't heard back from the guy so he may have sold it.

LQ4 is a great motor option, but like has been said plan on strengthening things up a good bit. Trans, rear end etc.

I think 10-12k is a reasonable budget. Not like some people that want 500hp outta spending 3k.

This will be an on going project that will give me something to do for years to come. My main concern first is suspension and going through the front end since it does have 235k on it. That's not really a big deal but the engine and transmission I want done very soon also. I'm just having trouble finding a lower mileage 6.0 for decent money. I've been told the fly by wire engine would be less wiring.
