    any gm suv's without a 60e??

ok, im to the point where im either done messing with automatic transmissions (60e's) or im done with the whole performance truck scene, ive had my fill. i have put more transmissions in my avalanche than i care to discuss, the last 2 that i have shredded were built 60e's,the first built 1 i broke the beast sun shell & the one in the truck now has less than 2000 miles on it and the planetary's are in the pan (not bad mouthing the builder at all, just gm's b.s.), the sad thing is that i dont beat the truck i get down but not constantly. im just not down for an 80e swap, my lack of time and health issues say no or it would be done, so my question is -is their a gm suv of any sort with an 80e that is not butted to an 8.1? (i wont do the 8.1 again). my plan was to fix & sell my avalanche and get something else, i like the 05'ish escalade ext & h2 but they both have a 6L and out weigh my avalanche and from what ive read they both have the 60e's? and would be pointless. am i missing a suv out there that has a 6L and an 80e?

and ya it will beat a hemi.

You have way too much weight and power working against a 60e to think it will last. If it were me I'd hate to start over with something else when I have such a powerful combination. Do the 80e swap and enjoy some reliability in your build. Is the truck 2 or 4wd? Don't give up on an awesome ride.

Unfortunately all half tons are gonna be equipped with a 60e.
The only trucks with the 80e r the 3/4 tons.
The 80e conversion is well worth it.

I'm with u on transmissions. I've had my share as well along with many others.
I won't even run a 60 behind anything that is performance.

U can get an 08 plus vehicle, the new six speed autos are nice.

Dude just do the 80 swap and fugetta bout it, its easy as hell, get a 99-2002 cross member flip the mount around backwards, cut the brown and white wires on the stock harness hook the white to the brown on the plug, run a vss up to the 22 and 23 pins on the pcm call Allen for a tune and go drive with no worries every where you go, I blew up 1 60e swapped the bone stock 80 in with a yank verter and have never looked back, best decision I ever made with this truck.
    THEY CALL ME G.

thanks for the input, im thinkin about just gettin an ext caddy and puttin wheels on it like everyone else and callin it done. arent the gear ratios in the 80e different enough from the 60e's that i would also need 2 sets of gears?
