A wise builder told me on the first startup take all the sparkplugs out and turn it over until u have oil psi. Then put the plugs back in and start it. But just my .02

When I did my cam swap I was told to unplug the main connector for the coil packs. That let the motor turn over and get everything moving around. After about 30sec of turning it over we plugged the connectors back in and it fired right up like there was never anything done.

Sounds like basicly the same concept except mine doesn't build compression and push down on the dry bearings as hard. Either way is better than just starting it up to me

When we built mine we did what trav did, rechecked everything plugged em in and its been going strong for 4 years now without a hitch.
