It's pretty plain jane. But the previous owner took really, really good care of it. It's super clean.

lol...the old way this was set up, no one could comment in members threads in this section, so progress pictures were always together. Now threads get full of replies so progress pics get scattered throughout the thread. Not a big deal, but I'd rather keep mine together. I honestly have no real plans for the truck other than a tune. Maybe a converter if I can fanangle it by trading some of these stock parts I have. Other than that, I'm primarily focused on just keeping it clean (sharp) and comfy. For "comfy", I need to get the exhaust extended back rather than dumped by the axle, I'd like some sound deadener in the cab, and I'd like a little bbit more of a comfortable ride. The suspension is kind of 'meh'.

What do you have planned to turn "meh" into "yeah!"?

I need Moze to do a couple more roll-on liners for me. It looks a lot easier when someone else does it.

I'm really not sure what it needs. It has Belltech shocks on the front. Can't remember what's on the back. Maybe they're just due for replacement.

The truck is just rattly compared to the NNBS trucks I was looking at. I want a nice comfy ride. I hate rattles and wind and road noise.

Drop em off. I'll do em for $300 each.

Took the truck to an exhaust shop today, had the Flowmaster cut off (sounded like poop) and had them install a stock muffler they had laying around. Very quiet now. Guess I'm too old to want to hear exhaust rumble.

Got the truck tuned today. Virgil did an awesome job. Unfortunately I'm running 87 octane...not to mention the truck has 3:23's in it, so the bottom end pretty much sucks. I'm going to try to track down some 3:73's.

I also replaced all of the shocks. It had Belltech's on there and three out four were absolutely shot. Replaced them with Monroe Sensa-Trac's, removed the rear bump stops (they were way too close and didn't have any more material to cut off), and it rides like a brand new truck. Also got the front wheels balanced and it took away the shake I was having at 60+mph. Getting the rotors turned this week and then I'm going to add some sound deadening material.
