Yes, they will clear but you might ned to change the oil pan for clearance.

the factory 5.3L fullsize truck oil pan will clear as will the factory exhaust manifolds cats and y pipe. i'm in the finishing stages of my 5.3L swap into my 92 GMC k1500 with 98 interior and wiring and the 5.3 fits like a dream. Here's a few pic's that might help clear up a few of your questions. Ans building your own harness is not that bad of a job just very time consuming.

Well, I guess im gonna order the Current performance harness, they are the only ones that seem to have the answers i need about my harness, Ive tried to call Nelson several times and half the time, i dont get an answer and the other half, I get a ladie that tries to help me, but really doesnt have the specific answers i need. I want to deal with Nelson, But I can get anybody on the phone to help, If they are this hard to get ahold of when i want to purchase something, imagine how bad it will be if I have a problem. Not trying to down anyone, just sharing my personal experiance
You should have asked for Jonathan, he's the man when it comes to wiring.![]()

I finally got ahold of johnathon last nite, Im probabley gonna go with Nelson, Price is better and they seem to have more knowledge of my build, Im just a little reserved after how hard it was to talk to someone
Bellflower,
I am working on a bracket kit that will allow the stock A/C compressor and lines to be used on a 96-2000 GMT400 Gen3 engine swap
If you can wait a couple of weeks, I will have something to show you. I don't mean to disrupt your thread--Enough said.
