That's probably my favorite article I've read. That made my mind up on doing a turbo on my truck. Now just to save up and piece it together. To the OP, you can always get a set of 317's off someone for pretty cheap and sell your heads. That would drop your cr a good bit. And really if you want you can get a ls6 cam for cheap too.

ive been reading alot about 5.3's w/317's- will net you a 8.5-1/8.6-1 cr, and these guys are turning out easy 600 to 700hp. look up 5.3 turbo van, its a awd chevy express- now one of my favs! and another one was synergy motorsports also in a truck, granted it was a twin setup.
