    whats the weight difference between a 2wd & 4wd trucks with all else being the same?
    * 2004 Chevrolet CCSB Z-71 5.3L * G80, 3.73's * Black Bear Autocal 91 oct tune * Magnaflow 3" SI/SO 14" case * Airaid M.I.T. * OEM airbox with open air modification * Color matched grille & lower valence * Blackened Tail Lights * SuperBright LEDs in brake lights & reverse lights *

    In the garage to be installed: 799 heads, Dyna-Tech long tube headers, Corvette servo, 2" lowering shackles, 2wd u-bolts & bumpstops

    200-300 pounds I believe. Just a general estimate.

    Update to this thread. If upgrading to a 4l80e you need the transfer case adapter to go from 80e to the awd transfer case. The gm part number for this part is 15724745 . . . .Now when someone asks me what part or where to get it I can just remember to look here.
    99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
