this trans mounts between the torque tube and rear diff, they are not one piece on the vettes, this trans can be switched over to the f-body style that mounts right behind the engine with some parts and work.

FYI this trans will need a new case and output shaft to be used in a Fbody or truck. Basically your buying internals

and its a few parts of the case you would need, not the complete housing.
