the stock muffler on my new truck is about the size of pickle barrel and its very quiet but when you get on it you can hear it a little. on my old truck i have the magnaflow dual in dual out with the built in crossover and it is a perfect sounding muffler. not too loud, no drone at idle or on highway, and when you get on it it's very good sounding.

Illya, what size is your exhaust? I haven't looked at my Dads (he has an indentical truck for work). I know I traded my stock muffler to a guy who was wanting to go a little quieter. The 6.2 muffler is hugeeeeeeeeeee but flows well.

i had a Dynomax Ultra Flow X muffler, it was dual in/out and had a real mellow tone cruising but sounded healthy at wot, i had duals, race cats, and no mufflers then my son came along and i also needed a muffler.
