    Rpm drop between shifts??

What kind of rpm drop are you guys seeing between shifts? curious because my new circle d stall is possibly tight and still new. Either way its pulling the shifts down nearly 2500 rpms between shifts. I didnt know if this was normal for thier new stalls or just normal. The stall iv used for the last 3 years was an art-carr and it only fell about 1400-1600 rpms. ideas?

is your converter clutch locked between shifts? I find you don't have so much RPM loss between shifts when the converter is unlocked.

which converter of his do you have? my 3c would drop from 7k to 5400 behind the LS1.

my +4c dropped back right at 1k rpm on motor. never got to try it on nitrous. same converter is going behind 408 so no telling what it will do with that combo.

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

It's a new FLT that went in last month. Stall did same thing in the stock 80 that was in the truck about a month while waiting on the new tranny. The stock 80 is in another truck with a different company's stall an has no issues
