when using the wastegate on the crossover, try sizing your wastegate spring to a smaller size

just cause a spring is rated at XX amount of boost doesnt mean its going to make that amount. always size smaller then step up, remember its gotta be good to regulate the boost when only controlling one side of motor

Is it alright to have the wastegate mounted to a flex coupler off the crossover, or should it be mounted directly to the crossover?

Well i removed spring so wastegate would open right away and still upwards of 15 pounds! does this mean i need a bigger gate than a 38?? How big should i go?

are you saying with no spring in the gate [which means constantly open] your still over boosting? what is the postion of the gate? the gates exhaust is it routed back into downpipe or vented to atmosphere? if merged into DP is it on a angle or more of a 90*?
