Update! I am working with my friend at a body shop to get a bonded title for it since the person under the title hasn't responded to any requests for info. The build is going pretty slow since my main priority is my running/driving 73' Bronco.

Any suggestions on a drivetrain? My trans I picked up cheap is cracked so I scrapped it and am starting over. I'm not sure about what will mat up to what so I've been doing some research over on pirate4x4.

700R4 is basically a 4l60e and are a dime a dozen. Also look into TH350's as they can provide a variation in tcases and also cheap. What tcases were you considering?

I'm wanting to run an NP205 with Dana 60's front and rear. The issue is the output shaft for the front axle, the GM and Ford T-cases are on opposite sides. I may be going with a TH400 if it will bolt up to a 5.3 or 6.0 fairly easily. I would prefer to start out with a HD drivetrain instead of replacing parts as I go. I sold the Atlas II I picked up w/ the TH400 I bought which will pay for most of my drivetrain after cleaning up the TH400 it had a cracked case and shelled gears. I didn't look at it too much when the guy was pushing to sell it I was more interested in the built, shiny twin stick Atlas II t-case that was bolted to it.
