I like the sigs, I like the kahrs, but this was just a deal that was too sweet to pass up. Seriously... how many times is someone going to get shot with anything and keep running? I don't aim for legs...

Kel-Tec also says during their break in process, it is common for rounds to jam in the first 150 or so shots through it until everything sort of meshes together correctly. I'll get 150 shots through it quickly.

You got a pretty sweet deal on that bundle.

I have a few 9mms that I use mostly for target practice and such, for personal protection I prefer .45s and I have really grown to like Glocks quite a bit.

7 rounds isn't to bad my carry gun is a Glock 36 "Subcompact Slimline" and it only holds 6 in the mag because it's single stack.

My back up gun I keep stashed in the truck is a Glock 30 which will only hold 10, some times I carry this one depending on what I'm wearing. (Can't take a picture of this one because it's on loan right now, lol and my buddy likes it so much he wants to buy it, so I have been thinking about selling it to him.)

My bedside gun is a Glock 21 with a GTL 22 Laser/Light combo on it. Always on the ready holding 13 in the clip and 1 in the chamber...3 more clips loaded just in case it gets ugly.

Like you, I don't carry one chambered on my person because of the way the safety works.

I really wanted a .45. That has been my intention for the last year while deciding exactly what I wanted. I don't like the way glocks feel in my hand at all. They make me feel like my wrist is pointed more towards the ground to aim straight... hard to explain. I'm a big fan of the XD and XDm, but the XDm doesn't come in a .45 subcompact. The XD does, but you're looking at twice the money as this Kel-Tec. I can guarantee, if I have to pull it on someone, they won't be running afterward.

I'll have an XDm .45 for the bedside soon enough. I can't have it here at school, so pointless right now really.

Yeah a few of my friends feel that a Glock is a little bulky feeling, but I have really large hands so I don't even notice it, and once you have shot a Glock it's hard to go with another brand. The reliability is pretty impressive as well, I have spent several thousands rounds through a 21 I have and it has never jammed on me once.

I have shot about 30 different Glocks and they all felt good to me, even the .380s which aren't for sale in the US.

Another great thing about Glocks is they are extremely accurate out of the box, be hard to pressed to find better. I have bought 9 of them and never had to adjust a sight to record tight groupings.

I have shot a few XDs and XDms and you will really like it when you buy one, they make a pretty nice gun as well. They were very accurate even for the first time I had shot them.

First time I held a glock I didnt like the way it felt in my hand either. But it was also an empty mag. First time I got my hands on a glock with a loaded mag it was a different story. Especially when it's got 13 rounds of .40 in the mag.

ever seen someone shot with a 9mm compared to a .45 when the adrenaline is pumping they keep running, also wounding somone and dropping them or incapacitating them is better on you conscience than killing them, once you take a life it wieghs heavily, forever, just saying

Just out of curiosity how many of you actually feel that you need a carry? Or is it more of a hobby deal? Not in a million years would I ever need too, but I probably would if Canada's handgun laws weren't retarded. Even with me having my license for them it's still a complete nightmare.

You know I have no conscience. I honestly think if I had to drop someone, it wouldn't be an issue. Social Darwinism. You're stupid enough to get up and run, you're stupid enough to get shot again. I realize I haven't been in the military or anything of the sort, but if someone I care about is in danger... you better believe I'll be on it like white on rice son.
