It's a 7+1, but the Kel-Tecs don't have an actual safety. They only have the double action trigger. So I'm semi afraid to leave one chambered when carrying.

same like the glocks, the little lever on the trigger is the saftey, if you want to call it a saftey lol. i actually went looking for a glock today, and i liked the 17 hopfully will be getting it soon. let me know how you like the pf9 when you put some rounds through it.

Just be careful with the Kel-tecs...I had one before i got my Glock and I had so many issues with it. Shoot as much as you can to make sure its a good one and there are no defects. Again, not saying your's is messed up but I know at one point 4/10 guns they produced had to be sent back to the manufacturer.

    Still looks pretty sweet though!

i know its a compact but i believe in stopping power so always get a .40 or above, you shoot someone in the leg with a 9mm they keep coming you shoot someone anywhere with a .45 they go down.

I personally like my SIG p229, But its all stainless with composite grips. Its a little hefty, but its nice and small and with 40s&w, it packs some serious punch. I never do get to shoot it though. But hopefully i'll never have to use it.

    +1
that's why I went with a compact glock in .40. The 21 isn't much larger than that but it sure makes me feel better having a .40 rather than a 9mm.
