Depends on your truck. Is it a rcsb, ec, or cc? Weight will be your worst enemy since youve got a lack of torque. But I bet with the right selection of parts like some long tubes and a damn good cam, you could get into the 12s. Gonna take some money tho....

Rob does have a small cam g... But the answer is yes. A cam like around 220 - 224 is what Rob and blake have. Blake seen 11s with a 150 shot on a 3200 stall. Once rob gets his retune for the short shifting issue I'm sure we will see mid 13s out of his. He is already looking into heads. Follow his build or message either of them for how to

4.8's love to rev, and don't really make any power down low. Keep that in mind when choosing parts too. You'll need a converter with at least a 3500 stall speed. At least. And 4.56 gears minimum.

If u plan to rev it to the moon u better do dual springs along with hardened pushrods.

4.8 could do it easily...and expensively lol. if you have tons of money to blow go for it. ive seen them run 13.2's on street tires. nice heads, big cam (bigger than anyone has recomended so far), big converter, big gears and lose alot of weight with good traction.
