Hey Guys, just posting up on a small build I'm doing.
I have an '04 GTO here getting a new engine, stageIII heads, healthy cam, 150 N2O.
The original engine had a set of stageII heads, but you'll see why we can't use'em.

The new engine is a 402 stroker, with Eagle forged crank, Lunati Pro rods, Mahle pistons, Partriot heads.

Should be an strong runner, I'm sure we'll get in the mid 10's with it.

I just wanted to show you guys some pics, you'll enjoy these. YIKES!!!
(btw, just for the record, I wasn't involved with the first build, lol)

I'll take those adjustable rocker arms, studs and guide plates if they're not being used on the new engine.

Damn, that engine took some abuse!

Wow, that's worse than then my mock block! At least you can get a new LS6 block for $600.00 plus shipping out of New York. That's what we did on the Porsche.

I'm no expert on diagnosing an engine, but can someone tell me why the intake valve is covered in fuel/carbon whatever, and the exhaust valve is very clean.

I'll be opening up the bottom end today to see what broke loose, obviously a rod.

man that looks exactly like the block i pulled out of a 2000 firebird at the pontiac dealer a couple years ago. This was after the guy told me he "Drove through a SMALL puddle of water and it died" It cracked the block down both sides even through the oil pan. I bet whatever this guy did he had more fun though!!
