Ok so after doing a little research it looks like the problem is the reverse band or it could be a pin that punctures through the servo on the weaker 97+ design. I hear that this is do to puting the truck in drive when it is rolling in reverse. To get to the band, you have to remove everything in front of it. I do not know how to get to the servo? IIRC when i put a shift kit in my other 80e I think I remember putting different spirings in the servo. I'm not sure if this is the same servo or if there is just one servo.
