what trans did it end up with ? The original truck trans or the LT1 trans.
That year had issues with the wiper delay module. That could be the wiper problem.
Do you hear the sprayer pump when you try and use it ?
Flooding and black smoke - I'd check to see if an injector is bleeding off, or maybe pressure reg.
Is the check engine light on ?

i belive it has the factory truck trans i belive it has like a drain plug below the slave cylinder i havent seen that on a factory truck trans. and the sprayers dont do nothing i can put juice to it and it works. and i noticed that the coolant temp sensor is missing and i found the wire that came factory on the truck but i couldnt find the wire that come out of the lt1 wiring harness. does them coolant temp sensor go ont the driver side head? and no the check engine light is not on.

Have you looked under the truck for the speedo hookup? On the tailhousing should be the sensor connection point. I think the wire colors are purple and yellow, both with striped wires. Behind the glove box is the speedo box. We really need to know what trans is in there to help you fix your issues. If your current cruise cable is short you should get the cruise cable from a 1998 silverado V8.

Is the trans auto or stick?

Sounds like a might be a stick he mentioned a slave cylinder? the computer coolant temp sensor is on the front of the engine mounted in the waterpump, coolant sending unit for gauge is on the cylinder head best I remember. Does the CK engine light even work, before you crank the engine light should be on and once your engine is running it should go off, if not someone probably disabled it. Next, you probably need to do is start looking at data on your scan tool if you have one, a bad coolant sensor that reading wrong would definitely make it run rich or if it is missing all together.

the guy i got the truck off of just put a new water pump on it. and yes it is a 5 speed. they put a wiring harnees in it for the lt1 motor and idk if they messed it up or what and the service engine light comes on when i turn the key and it does not come on when running even when it is cold and not runing right truck runs great when warm. and today i tryied to take the speed sensor of the tail shaft and it would not budge. i notesd that some one broke the conector on the speed sensor.also i noticed when i turn my heater on it does good when it blowes in your face and in the floor but not on defrost. and thanks for the help so far guys if i get this figured out i will let you no and red heart beat you said it has a speedo box behind glove box can u some how get a picture of it for me or tell me what it looks like?

its a white plastic box about 2.5" square. It should be attached to the wiring harness conduit at the bottom below the glove box, attached with velcro. I don't have a picture because I no longer have a 92 truck. My 92 had the 5 speed manual, too. Mine had a 93 LT1 Corvette engine conversion I did. I had S&P do a tune for it.

Things to check, fuel pressure. On the LT1 it should be 43 lbs. The wiper motor is easy to replace. The 92s had an issue with cold solder joints in the wiper motor. If the truck is running good while driving I would suggest you get a GPS unit and put it on the setting that shows you the speed you're driving at. I use mine that way because my speedo is off.

If you do not have the yellow and black wires going to a good coolant sensor in the engine then the PCM is going to flake out and flood the engine to keep the engine cool.

Street and Performance makes a tab you add to your throttle body so that you can add the cruise cable to it. I made my own but theirs would have been so much easier to do.

Mine was a red extended cab with an Escalade clip. I converted it to LS1/4L60e before it was stolen. I sold the 93 LT1 to a buddy in Greenville TX and he put it in his 1990 RCSB. He sold it last year, it was black primer at the time.
