I always disliked v8's because i never saw the point of displacement. later a friend in the class finished his sbc 383 truck build and gave me a ride in it at night. he put it in 4 wheel drive and i thought it was slow....until the next day when i saw the 4 wheel traction "problems" he had. i was hooked on chevy after that and when it was time for a new vehicle i wanted a rcsb with a chevy v8....that's when i started with ls motors

So I was stationed in japan, came home on leave cus pops was havin surgery well while home I bought a dodgw dakota quad cab, well I grew up chevy and all my friends drove chevys but it was all I could afford, my dream was an ext cab chevy, I went to iraq and when I came home and gave the dodge to my parents, and bought an 03 arrival blue ext cab had a tb spacer cai hypertech and true dual flowmasters 2 12 jl audio w3v2s poundin under the seats woth tvs in the headreats sittin on 20s and thought I was the shiznit, so I had it all scheduled to have it bagged and decided to take a road trip before and I hit an elk and totalled it, so I bought my black truck which was a joe gibbs with no sc I got out of the service and came home I thought I was king shiznit I called out a modded lightning now mind you im in a stock 5.3 well he raped me so I did gears and a hypertech once again I thought I was badass raced an SSS and got beat by a truck length and was devastated, my buddy chick said chech out this website ls1truck well 2 months goes by and he says you really should go to this site so finally I logged in and became friends with tyler, jon, kurt, ricky, greg, moze and virgil and boy did they open my eyes, well after a month me and chick went to virgils and helped with moze' engine swap met greg there too, a month later we went to tylers house and me chick, tyler, and dale
Did the build on my truck, needless to say I didnt have a problem with lightnings anymore and the rest is history.
