    Crazy Texas Weather...

Yesterday I was having a great time hanging out and racing with friends at our local track and today I am grilling hot dogs & burgers in the snow, literally.

Dude, that's nothing. We took a motorcycle training course in the snow. In Corinth at American Eagle HD we had 3" of wet snow standing in the parking lot and we were riding Buells in it! It started out this AM we were riding them in the soaking rain and then the temp dropped 8 degrees.

    Haha nice, sounds fun...

I only went outside today to feed animals, snap a few pics and then grill up some food.

Drag racing sounds like fun! I can't wait to get back to it again myself. How'd you do? Any times to report?

All my lil ole 5.3 cc could muster this day was 14.5s at 95 mph, but I'm fighting some serious issues with traction and wheel hop from lowering springs I believe.

Not to worry though, I'm retiring this to DD status and building a track truck.

yeah, adding some more power. Came stock with 4.8L. Added nitrous and never used it. Had a 408/80e from an old setup I added to it. Didn't run good enough so added an STS turbo system, melted pistons when I kept driving it though I couldn't tune it via HPTUNERS, no support for the 2007 4.8 for some reason. 4.8L is back in it and the 408 is in the process of being put back together along with a few upgrades. Using a 2008 PCM that HPTuners supports, now.
