    In-tank fuel hose

Okay, getting ready to do twin pumps in the tank and want to see what all hose types you guys have had success with. I will be doing 3/8" hose between the pump and the tank mounting plate on barb fittings. I know there is a hose made by Gates PN 27097 and its about $28 a linear foot. I would need about a foot of the hose to go between each pump outlet and the tank, including a loop for the assembly to compress in the tank. I've used fuel injection quality rubber hose successfully many times. So, what are you guys using?

I've had good luck with Napa's high pressure fuel hose. It's rubber and 5/16 I believe. It's like 9$ a foot. The only issue is when you do the loop it tends to kink. It isn't very flexy.

The black braided Earls hose with the teflon liner?

Are you going to run 160 lb injectors to run alcohol?

I have 300 psi blue hose in my tank hooked up to my walbro 255. I had 100psi hose burst twice. Also using stainless steel clamps.

the 'fuel injection' hose is not rated to be submerged. It will start to deteriorate after a year or two.

Napa sells the good stuff for about $30 a foot as mentioned. I talked to a few suppliers of stainless braided line, and they said NOT to use it. All recommended the blue line-loc hose. Can usually be had for 5-6 a foot.

I have had really good luck with this ebay seller, and he seems to be the cheapest on line-loc and braided hoses

The black hose I got from Napa was submersible. Said it right on the reel they pulled it off of.

We're using the stock style white according flexible hose, in 6" and 12" lengths. I think I got some if you need it, they are cheap.
it doesn't kink and makes u turns nicely.
    it'll never wear out either.

we use a heat gun to soften the plastic, then push it on the barb, then as it cools, it shrinks and molds, a clamp it used as well.
