    Dude Justin that is a solid box, is that really a down fire design and how many watts were you using to power it? Heres my old 12" L7 setup, 3 cubic ft bamboo decorated box @ 29hz and 750wts. Yeah some people dont like square subs but they have potential when tuned.

    It was an inverse mounted forward firing box with a 6" aero port. It was on a KX2500.1 that bench pressed 2880 @ 2 ohms.

    The sub was a custom order Digital Designs 9512 with dual 1 ohm coils. $720

    I thought my 4" port was dope for the amount of air it unloaded.... That must have been a pleasure trying to breath if you dared to stay in the cab while the audio is full blast.

    jl makes a w7 8" with the rite box you would swear it was a set of 12's.... jl by far the best sound quality sub and will still tear it up on spl... had one 13.5 w7 with jl 1000/1 on it and custom box 168.2 db in street class

    Not to be a dick but, I call BS on 168.2db with one 13.5 w7 maybe if it was measured in the port.............got any proof? Cause if that is legal d*mn thats loud bro.

    Measuring off the port is imo... I call bs with that combo unless u wana elaborate more on your magical box.
