2012 Ford F-150 Ecoboost Super Crew 4x4, stock and staying that way.
2001 chevy green = LS1 stock, 3k stall, 373 posi, tuned by LSX Power in CS TX
Its almost not even worth my time to respond but, what the hell are you talking about? I don't have a need for a big block at this time. You can put money on it though, when the time comes for me to build a race car/truck, it WON'T be LS powered. Don't get me wrong. I think the LS platform is great for drivers and weekend toys, but when it comes to racing for money, BBC and SBC are still taking home the money. Look at 10.5 racing...Outlaw 10.5: TT BBC, Outlaw Radial: TT BBC, x275: NOS SBC, Our local series 2 years in a row: NOS SBC...See a pattern? The LS motor is great, but there's a reason people continue to build the "old school" stuff. I knows there's really no reason for me to try and argue my point here, so I'll just agree with what you're thinking
THE LS MOTOR IS THE GREATEST ENGINE EVER

The graphs look impressive until you realize there's only a 4% difference between the two motors (for hp)...

FOR SALE: 03 Silverado SS -DBRods built 40X, DP, Suspension. Going for fast
I don't understand why you want to compare the two???
Both are GM...We're all for GM products here right?
Both are badass engines...Right?
Cubic inches are cubic inches...whether its a small block or a big block. I bet the cylinder heads on the SAM motor would cost someone nearly $7-8k to buy....Throw an awesome set of heads on a 500+ C.I. motor and that 433 is still going to run with its tail tuck, whether its an LS, SBC, BBC
The zz572 comes with "junk" heads, a TINY 850 cfm carb and a small cam...Now, throw a set of heads on it that flow 480cfm, an 1150 dominator and an actual cam in it and see what happens
THERE IS NO REASON TO COMPARE THESE TWO!!!

Only reason I posted this was the torque curves. Heard a million times LS motors can't make torque, Jon blew this outta the water and this graph shows it as well. A few idiots turned it into another "who has the smallest dick and least to do during the day" contest.
