Picky? How drunk were you when you bought the last project

Check trans fluid. Check rear end for leaks. They are easy to fix, but chances are if it's leaking, it was driven with low fluid.

Cab corners for rust. Check oil level. If it's low, then it prolly burns a little. Can check tip of exhaust for same problem. All maintenance stuff on these things is pretty easy, so I wouldn't be OVERLY worried about it, but trans/rear end repairs get expensive fast.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

Congrats on making your dreams realities. I should be picking my truck up on Saturday. Got the check from the bank today for it, so as long as the dealership doesn't sell it out from under me, I should be golden. Let us know how it goes!

This has proven to be a lot tougher than anticipated everywhere I go and everyone I call either has just sold there trucks or crazy prices or miles that are outta control. I am hopping early next week to find something. Beyond that tonight we are dropping everything into Travis's truck(bangbangskeetskeet) hooorrraayyy!

I am having a hellaof a time finding a truck that I can get financed. Most are too old or too cheap thats right too cheap Chase Bank wants at least a loan of 7500. Other banks don't deal with small dealerships. Tons of fun stuff like that. I am getting tired of this unsuccessful search. Now I am off to look at yet another truck. any tips or advice for dealing with the banks let me know. AZ guys if you know of a good credit union or bank let me know. Thanks.

I have no issues going out to LA that would give me the opportunity to surf or snowboard plus pick up a nice truck. Things are still tough going finding something I like and can afford. I might see a light at the end of the tunnel though my uncle has a truck I love but he wasn't thinking about selling it for another 6 months.....hmmmmm I'm kinda not that patient.
