    Exclamation LS Fans ???? plus problems

    ok guys i tried the searches but came up empty. it has been a while since i have posted but with all the help i recieved on here doing my conversion i thought i would come and ask for help again.
    ok so i have ls fans installed on the truck 1985 r-10 6.0 with maggie 4L80E with shift kit running 9 lbs of boost. i can not get the fans to run on high at all the run but never on high. i am not running A/C but it is wired into the pcm on both pins per the nelson diagrams from other sites. is where i am going wrong? the schematics for the harnesses are pretty much the same no matter which ones you look at. any help with this would be great. i have hptuners if anyone needs to see tunes or what ever and trust me i have gotten it up high enough to kit the fans on high. i know i am just missing something but i dont know what.
    thanks again guys
    mike

    did nelson give you a 2002 DBC Camaro tune or are you running a truck tune in your PCM? What year tune? Little things matter a whole lot.
    See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709

    i found the schematic and then copied it. the tune is self done. once i wired it to the truck i then went in and turned the fans on (persay) like i said i really have not had any cooling issues with them other than they will not go on high. they are even programed to run for 3 min after the truck is shut off. my thought process on this is that one wire is connectecd to pin 42 on the green connector i believe or is it pin 33 on the blue connector. i am not sure that the a/c trigger will function propperly if i am not running a/c at all. i can post the tune if need be

    Did you turn the AC recirc option to #2 fan? This is a fairly new function for the trucks.
    The PCM pins will output a neg (ground) signal. Are you sure you aren't trying to use it as a + signal in your circuit?

    the motor and everything came out of a 2004 silverado 2500.

    i did switch from no fans to 2 fans and even tried AUX as well with no results. i wired it per the schematic but who is to say i didn't miss read some thing lol. i can not even get it to go high with the tech2 as well. i guess that i will have to relook at my harness and see if i did not fudge something up

    Post a link to the schematics you used.

    Also you did the correct thing by selecting "2 FANS", but you also have to set the AC RECIRC switch to "FAN #2"
    Go to :
    SYSTEM-> A/C->GENERAL-> Recirc option.....set to FAN#2

    You have everything setup like in the schematic, but have the AC signal going to the Green Pin 42 PCM wire right? You should have your low speed on BLUE pin 42 and the high speed on GREEN pin 33. You should have 2 wires to the PCM.
    You will need to install the lastest 2.23 beta from HPtuners to have the AC recirc option. I think they have it on everyone's customer page right now. If not e-mail support and ask for it.

    If it doesn't work, try hooking your high speed lead to ground temporarily to check that the fans do come on with the correct signal.
