I don't know what your rattle sounds like but, I had a rattle that was driving me crazy and could not find it. It sounded like a bolt was rattling around in the crossover pipe. Turns out that the o2 sensor was broke. Just pulling it out it looked fine, but shake it and you could hear it rattle. Changed the sensor and the problem went away. Crawl under your truck and hit on the exaust with you hand and see if it rattles. If there is a rattle when you hit on the pipes I would check the o2's.

O2 sensors were ok, got the valve covers off now. Man, M1 synthetic keeps it really clean in there! I'll take some snapshots when i go back out to finish it off. Also cleaned out my IAC motor while I was at it, couldnt hurt, hadnt been cleaned in 112k, was pretty filthy.

All that work and it ended up being the stupid exhaust hanger rattleing the f**k out of itself against the frame! oh well, at least i have fresh valve cover gaskets and I did the TB bypass while i was at it!

I'm glad you found the issue. There is nothing worse than hidden rattling noises. My exhaust is rattling, too. I've just got to get out there and make a better bracket to hang it higher.

Shoot man, rattleing noises are sooo annoying, you cant have a sweet truck that rattles!!! Man i felt so retarded when I figured it out too, i had to drive around the block with my head out the window to figure out it wasnt coming from the front of the truck!
