I guess it depends on how you look at it. I think it sucks they put a friggin dummy light there instead of a functional gauge. I mean, what would the additional cost have been to GM to put a Denali cluster in everything, like 50¢ per vehicle?

yeah i guess your right. they should of just had them in their stock in the first place.

Hmmmm....then all trucks would be the same and cost the same because they all would come already equpped alike.

One (neccessary IMO) gauge does not make all the trucks alike.

Funny thing is that they never put a transmission temp sensor before in anything but heavy duty trucks. I too believe they should have done it long ago on pickup trucks and vehicles that may pull a trailer.

Yeah like the trucks with the trailering package from the factory? That's definitely a no brainer

i just got done putting the blue leds into my gauges, and it looks pretty cool. although i dont care too much for the bright spots. i guess i just wish the lighting was evenly distributed. and that orange km/h is real dull at night. which is cool cuz i didnt like the color anyway of it.

I think they make blue bulbs that would fit, im not positive but if it would work that might even out the color a bit, it looks good though, im thinkin about giving it a try on mine

The blue tint incadescent bulbs will loose their color and turn green you need to get leds of whatever color you want. You can also get the esc cluster off ebay for 240 thats what I paid for mine. Also on teh mileage hell I now have 12K on my truck when it actually has 180K. I jsut plan on giving the buyer my old cluster and tell em to add it up. Not that big a deal only the guys with warranties ahve to worry abotu it even then they can void your warranty for mileage tampering since the mileage is held in the cluster and no where else in the computer system.

Here is how mine looks with a US Speedo stainless overlay on it. I have a shit lod of money tied up in my cluster. The gauge overlay is like 180 but it looks pimp IMO.
