Rocket statistics:
Sammy Miller ran the 1/4 mile in 3.58 seconds at 386 mph in 2002.
Deaf stunt woman Kitty O'Neill (the movie about her is "Silent Victory") covered a standing start 1/4 mile in 1977 in incredible 3.235 seconds at 412 mph. I believe this was on a desert race course, not a paved race track, and as such there was a lot more shut down area...
There is a "Swissrocketman" car running in the low 3's at over 450 mph.

I never claimed to know all about drag racing. I do know the difference in a rocket and a jet engine. I just don't live and breath drag racing like you do. You really should look up that C Lo Green song on youtube. Funny song.
You might also consider not being such a big block douche. No one cares. Remember this is not Big block truck forums.

my cousins big block pretty much overheats at the end of the 1/4 mile. It runs low 6's...heavily sprayed big block. Fast car, no doubt, but I'd rather own my truck. I'll take a 13 second car I can drive whenever I want over a 6 second car i get to drive maybe 3 miles a year. He sold his 12 second street car for the 6 second race car. All a matter of preference. That guy has a 7 second car he can drive whenever he wants.... WIN lol
Still pretty sure cops could issue him about 10982123 tickets if they wanted, so not sure how 'street legal' it is. I mean, technically MY truck isn't street legal. Definitions have lot of grey lines.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
I'm sure one of the first things a cop would have a problem with is how the chute covers part of the license plate. But he could fix that pretty easy.
Since it's a car from the 60s it's pretty much exempt from everything else, and he runs DOT slicks on it, so they're legal.
