Get the tires balanced somewhere where they can check the runout (actual roundness). Actually what kind of tires are you running? I remember Coopers, BFG's, Falkens and every cheapo brand all had issues with being out of round. Good years, Michelins and Hankooks were always pretty good.

I've also had the same feeling from u-joints. (Because my dumb ass didn't put them in perfectly square)

Detune it & slow down.

75 is the speed limit on the section of the 10 I take to work every day.

You have a carrier bearing? I have had bad front u-joints vibe really bad.

Also thought about the possibility of u-joints. To my knowledge they've never been replaced...236k miles on factory u-joints may be my problem also.

Maybe bad, out of round especially at 70mph--- tires? Higher speed would make the problem worse.
Jack the axles up and rotate the tires. Find the high spot and low and measure. Put something for it to rub against for the high spot.
I can not remember what the specs are but I would guess 3/16".
When you rotated the tires did you switch rear to front? You would have to have more than one bad tire then.

Ive got BFG gForce T/A KDW's. I think they did runout but I'm not positive.

It started before I got the new wheels and tires. It was even doing it wen I still had the 16's with the BFG A/T's. I think it started a few months after I pulled the lift block. Didn't notice it right away tho...

I'm Trying to get some things together for a 2/4 drop right now so I'll need to adjust the pinion angle anyway.

Have you broke the tires off the wheel and looked inside. There could be an internal issue with the tire coming apart. The tire will balance but under weight things get all screwed up. Think of it like a flat spot on the inside and at a certin speed the harmonics are just right for all hell to break loose.

No sir I haven't had the tires off since I bought them. I needto pull em anyway so I can coat the wheels.
