I've completed my conversion for the most part - got it running, and tried it out. I went with a mega shifter and I'm hooking up the neutral safety switch now.

There are a couple wires for the switch - do I wire them all together and tie them into the switch or just the PRND P one? I believe this is pin 34 blue.

The company that did my harness calls for a single org/blck wire but as far as I can tell that is for a camaro harness - pin 34.

What do the other PRND wire do?

    Any help is appeciated.

    Brian

Switch? What is that? A reverse light switch would be nice but my 92 and 93 LS1s did not have the shifter wired to the PCM at all. As far as I know nobody does in their conversions.

The only reason that I'm concerned is that when I took my trans in for a tail shaft installation - it's going in a jeep - They said that the PN switch somehow controlled line pressure, and that too much would cause it to go boom.

Doesn't it also mess with maf and egr?

Brian...My harness came with the same single orange/black labeled "nuetral-safety". Would the engine start if this was not hooked-up to a nuetral-safety switch? I never got a clear answer on this either? What should I do with this, & be polite! Thanks,Gar

The neutral safety switch isn't needed as far as I know. Maybe hooking it up will make mine .1 sec quicker?
