It'd be a shame to see the truck go, but that SSR would be a blast with a few thousand dumped into it. What do they weigh anyway?
They are pretty heavy actually. Seems like 4600-4700, somewhere in there. I'm pretty sure they weigh more than the TBSS.

That's the vehicle plus how much weight it can hold in the bed. As for mods and what they'll run I'd suggest the 1 7/8" American Racing Headers and they're right at $1200 ordered direct from ARH. Next I would say a nice cam like the Texas-speed.com 228R. The kit with pushrods and dual springs is just under $700. You might want to think about a roller rocker and Yella Terra is making a Ultra Light shaft mount set for $450 and you can get them from Veneance Racing or many other places.
