HELP! rebuilt my 4l60e, now it doesnt move.

ok, so i thought i'd save myself some money and rebuild a trans on my own. It went smoothly, i am pretty sure i didnt leave anything out. Put the trans in last night and lo and behold, nothing! No forward, no reverse, nada. It doesnt matter if i shift it manually or unplug the connector, i have nothing. My first step was to check the pump. I unplugged a cooler line and fired it up to see trans fluid spray about 8ft out of my truck so i think the pump is fine. The rebuild kit i used came with a vb plate and some new gaskets, thinking maybe that was it i dropped the valve body, made sure all the balls where in the right spot, then replaced the seperator plate with an oem one from the dealer. Still have no movement. Im stuck, literally. Anyone know what it can be?

the trans is from a 2000 blazer. i swapped the bellhousing and used a tc from a 2004 silverado. could it be the torque converter? it did come from a truck that had its trans replaced due to a cooler line popping off and loosing all the fluid...

Double check all your connections. If there all good and assuming that your assembled it correctly I would say torque converter

would it not even try to move at all if it was the tc?

If the truck would move with a bad tc is a hard question, it kinda depends on how the tc brook. Another idea is there isn’t any ATF getting to the TC, If there wasn’t any ATF in the torque converter then it would just spin with out moving anything in the trans.

how much ATF have you put back into the truck since reinstalling the trans? did you prefill the TC before installing it? and is the TC completed seated all the way onto the shaft, you should of had to turn the TC a few times to get it to slide all the way on. just a few thoughts. the 4l60e's hold something like 16 quarts when bone dry. correct me if im wrong guys..
