it's the same as putting a 6.0/6.2 in your truck but keeping the vvt setup. like stated, just tune it out.
whats wrong with the 6.0? if i was you id try and grab it from them for a descent price![]()

ok ,i sent allen a pm on this just to double check get his opinion.
as for the 6.0 i can hear it knockin a little and it overheats.....
I just pulled up a 6.2 file and you can disable the VVT.
and if that LY6 was cheap enough it would be worth picking up for the L92 heads and intake.
the heads are 500 easy, intake is 150-200 complete block is easy to punch out for cheap.....yeah buy it, build it to a 408swap it in for the 6.2 then sell the 6.2.....just saying lol

ok heres what were going to do(hope it goes well) were going to put the 4.8 in with the vvt cam from the 6.0...with the vvt deleted will it still work?cuz we dont have a regular cam .its in my 6.0 lol
