    Radiator trans line fitting?

Well I'm plugging right along on my 5.3L swap. About to order everything to make trans and fuel lines.

TCI website says 1/4" NPT for the 4L60E. I read that's not entirely correct but it will work?

What size does the radiator need? I need to get some adapters so I can run -6AN hose ends.

This is for a typical radiator in a 1993 C1500.

    Thanks.

At the transmission you will want 1/4" NPSM and for the radiator will be an inverted flare fitting, i believe mine was 5/8", but i used a 32" radiator out of a 98 when i did my swap on my 93. IIRC you can measure this type of fitting by the OD of the fitting (EDIT: i meant across the threads) on your existing lines going into the radiator. You may want to use 45* and 90* for the AN hose ends at the transmission and radiator as it will help for routing.

Awesome. I just did a search on Summit and they have some various pairs of -6AN to 1/4" NPSM adapters listed. I'll measure my radiator. I too read later last night that it may have been 5/8 inverted flare fittings. Ya, I planned on used some various angled hose ends to make the hoses route nicely.

Ugh, too bad I'm looking at over $200 in fittings and hose to plumb fuel and trans fluid to this thing
