Was going to start a thread...but this is about same thing. Is there a way to do a window switch just for 2nd gear? With my gear, first goes too fast, and I know I'll spin tires if I spray. Just want to spray when I hit 2nd, and stop before it shifts. What brands is everyone using? How do you get the rpm signal to the switch? We can't tap off coil like old school cars can we?

completely off topic.... have you towed with that 3k stall? We have pretty similar setups, would you recommend higher/lower? I was thinking 2800 for mine.

That is what a window switch is for. You can set it to spray when you want. I have a zex it is totally adjustable. It has first gear lockout if you want and you set when it starts to spray and when it shuts off. Pretty sure if you wanted to wait till third or fourth gear it can do that also. Like if you had multiple stages.

No towing here, sorry. Depending on how much you tow, a 2800 would probably be just right.
