Oh yes i AM going to answer ALL of this!

Yes i do realize that it takes alot of money to go 9s in a cummins but havent seen a dmax do it. An it still takes alot of money to make gas trucks turn 9's. Your the one talking all this crap about people being fast and the furious wathcer and followers, um buddy look at your lp and sig under your name. I think you may have watched it to much yourself. An no matter what you say 13's is pretty fast for a almost 9000lb truck. An the only reason cummins have to "stack chips" is not all chips do one thing like they do on dmax's. ie Juice w/ att stack with ez , juice does timing and duration and ez does pressure. So now you have a hard fueling truck.
First off i dont have to have video proof of my truck running 12's and the best i could do is a vid of me running 13.3 @100mph and that's on facebook so idk if you could even see it. Also yes i am on a mild tune i have ZERO smoke at WOT im actually getting a new tune tomorrow and hoping for a 12.5 (record stock turbo stock injector dmax is a 12.3)
Yes i have the fast and the furious memorized and i think that is a hilarious quote not to mention my race truck i am building is going to have a big shot on it, friend made the joke get "2soonjr" custom plates and i liked the idea
    a cummins running 13's aren't going to weight 9000lbs
LOL hard fueling.... black smoke is BAD! those trucks are over tuned yes i have EFI live and my tuner can dial my truck in to make optimum power, sorry cummins guys are to stupid to make a tuning program... btw efi live is releasing software for the newer cummins. Also like to add my peak psi is 32 a cummins runs about 40 stock... and my 13.3 sec pas was with 26 psi 3psi above stock...

So i bet you any amount of money once they come out with that an they can turn up a cummins like you can it will be equal an the cummins will walk you all day and night. An im willing to bet your truck gets stupid HOT egts. The only fuel pump cummins need is a lp because dodge makes crappie parts.
Like i said about there already over tuned... yes they will probably be able to turn the tune down some and make some better numbers but not much, there's plenty off ppe chipped trucks running 12's on stock turbos and injectors.

Also think its funny how you talk about all a cummins needs is a lp because they have crappy parts? that makes no since all a lift pump does is supply the cp3 with positive pressure (10-14 psi is ideal) any pump would get worn out trying to pull fuel from 0 psi and turning around to put out 25,000 psi+ rail pressure. also the dmax and cummins run bosch cp3's only the dmax's has a bigger capacity

Im not 100% sure who's is the fastest right not, i know trent is running low 10's theres also dimitris truck which has gone low 10's who also wont the diesel power challenge this year! http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/...esel+challenge

also any diesel in the 13's will need a trans, a friend of mine's cummins had to have one before he broke out of the 13's. he has ats trans airdog 150 and i cant remember what hips he has but he runs a respectable 13.4 but guess what? im faster with the same mods...

They all have efi live which is like stacking chips on a cummins because no one makes a chip that fuels as hard or does anything to the computer like efi live can. Then also read that ALL of the trannis are upgraded, do the same upgrade to the dodge and it last the same. An also look at the hp they are putting down. A cummins with stacked chips and lift pump will do the same. An as for the fuel system they are still upgradeing there lift pumps like you have to do for a cummins, the injection pump is the same exact one the cummins has (CP3) and the cummins injection system is the strongest in the common rail 04.5 up they have three injection cycles. An you show me a page of 12 sec time slips, go to you tube and type in fastest dmax its like 11's or high 10's and then type in fastest cummins should show a pewter dodge with orange stuff on the side, he broke 9's
first off you arnt going to find the fastest truck using youtube, theres plenty of guys out there running cummins and dmax's that dont post on youtube, hell i dont post on you tube! what you are missing on that "both truck have same mods make the same numbers" is the dmax is still faster, you have to look at the complete dyno graph to see who is making power across the board my tuners truck made within 50hp from 2000rpms to 3500 i think was the pull. Also never heard of many people breaking cv's tie rods yes but they make selves and that fixes the problem for the most part a cummins will also make lots more TQ than the dmax with (helped by that I6) i could keep going on and on but its kinda point less

Ive always enjoyed the diesel debates. Since I know nothing about diesels, usually people post good information rather than the same useless ford vs gm garbage.

I have a good friend of mine that lives in Rosenberg and drives a 98 24v with turbo upgrade, built trans, fuel system, timer, stacked chips and 4''/6'' stack in the bed, and he runs 13s at seally. His truck used to pour smoke out but the last time he went to the track he had it turned up to where it gives just a little puff when he warmed up his 33'' slicks. He's not wasting any fuel. Other than that, his stack looks like the outlet end of a jet engine. and that truck isn't fast from a stop, but rolling, its like a rocket ship.

    black smoke= unburned fuel
