    yep, mine hit 220 sitting still on Sat, and i just ordered a 160 thermostat...

    you guys gotta remember that a cooler t stat wont help ya setting still...it will cool the motor better driving down the road but not setting still

    I still have a clutch fan guys. If I had efans I would have them wired to come on at temp and run at higher speed with AC.

    ya gotta realize that the cooler tstat will keep the coolant flowing more often, so less time in the rad. Quite often overlooked.

    So are you saying it's a bad idea being in such a hot climate?

    Well, possibly. It has it's ups and downs. It will cool better going down the road, but sitting still you'll be screwed. Just really watch your temps til you get the money Travis.

    To the OP, sounds like your clutch fan is going bad. Course your plans to go efans will fix that.

    A 160 tstat is $30 at orileys. I'm definitely saving for the Trick efans.
