That's just terrible, was there any indication that the bearing was bad, low oil pressure etc...? I'm getting ready to do a cam swap and a I sure hope I don't fins anything like that.
There was no indication I know of. Oil pressure was fine with no fluctuation. The cam that cam out was a 216/220 swapped about 30k ago. Just glad WeOriginally Posted by 2500Ak

looks like it starved for oil at one time and spun the bearing in the block, mis-aligning the hole in the bearing and the block.
