you should feel the abuse my trans gets, the 80e bangs between every gear even when going slow and I've never broke a shaft in it. I did mess up a roller clutch set internally after about 300 launches on the bottle at the strip.I changed the design of how the roller clutch works internally and haven't had any issues since.
Maybe you need to put the stock servos back in the trans to keep from killing shafts?

Well I like the way my trans drives and I haven't broken any shafts. The output shaft is just my only big concern with my current setup because I know it's the real weak link. I usually play things safe and I know the 60E's output shaft is LONG and not very thick, therefore it can't handle a ton of torque especially in a heavy truck. I will, however, be sure to contact you if I am ever graced with the opportunity to swap in an 80E.

With your weight, anything over 400rwhp is on borrowed time with a stock shaft. They can and have lived way beyond that, it's just not reliable past that. They way the trans is setup can also dictate the life of it.
