yeah i used to cruise it down to old orchard beach an around town and every time someone would throw me a thumbs up or yell nice truck at a stop light, it was nice to hear, as far as fun goes i bet my 98 was a hell of a lot more fun to drive with a 6 speed, as far as reliability goes the RST will be 100 time better. well until it gets a cam hahaha. where in maine you located?

It looks lower in your avatar. It looks good there with those wheels. I just hated how chevy sky jacked there trucks with rims like those. It looks good lowered.

haha TRUST me i DESPISE big profile tires and sky jacker lifts on these stock trucks i mean common... i think they put a 1 inch drop on the RSTs what is that supposed to do? i would love to do a 4/6 or even a 5/7 but i had a lot of issues with the OBS due to the drop kit so im sticking with a 4/5 so i dont have to flip my axel. i should look pretty good with a 30 series tire on the back in stead of the monster truck 45 series that are on there now. but yea thanks for the comments.

The big tire doesnt look bad when its lower though. Cut part of the bump stop so you have a tad more travel in the back if you want.

it looks bad from the side and make it have a pretty harsh rake to the front, plus the rear tires are junk so ill burn off whats left and am getting a set of nitto 555 285/30/20s for the rear. i cut the bump stop in half just about so i wouldnt be slamming frame, but the ground force shocks on the rear are pretty stiff it was all i could do to compress them to get the bolt back through so we will see how it rides. removing the overload leaf dropped it about an inch if not more. looks much better w/o it.

so i got my tune from Nelson's Performance on Monday, put it in last night and took it for a ride, lets just say with the mods i have listed and my shift kit the truck tears them loose and spins to about 70. did a few 30 punches and instantly spins, i couldnt stop smiling all night, keep in mind im new to th automatic world so im happy ill be having some fun with it. im hoping the new rear Nitto 555's i have will stick it to the pavement.
